Sussex Stray Cat

Posted by Nicole Asher on

This past weekend I received a plea for help for an injured stray cat. A concerned animal lover, Ashley Krieger has been regularly feeding this cat at her home and noticed that it has an injured back leg that is progressively getting worse.

With winter coming, she feared it wouldn’t survive and wanted to get it the medical attention it so desperately needs. Terrified of humans, the cat needed to be safely trapped.

I made the drive to Sussex and within a few hours I called with the good news  that she was in the trap.

The cat is now on the way to Newton Veterinary Hospital where it will receive much needed medical care.

Ashley, thank you for advocating for this kitty and reaching out to me to get her safe.… the world needs more caring people like you.
