Dexter went missing while hiking with his dad in Jefferson Township, NJ.
Last night I began advising the family to stay by where they had parked. Dogs lost from hiking situations tend to return to the areas where they entered the trails or where they parked. Instinct kicks in and they go back to the most familiar point.
Today a woman spotted Dexter sitting at the end of the road close to where they had parked. She FaceTimed Dexters dad, Patrick and the happy reunion soon followed!
