Hooper, a new rescue, bolted out the sliding door and into the deep woods. He was not traveling far but would run when anyone would approach. 

Time was of the essence, I wanted to get to him before he ventured further away. I made the two hour drive to Staatsburg, NY and within twenty minutes and a boop to his bum, Hoopers big adventure was done.
