This beautiful boy has been safely captured after at least eighteen months that we know of running the power lines through Kingston, NY. His story is a remarkable one as he integrated and travelled with a pack of coyote.

Last week I was contacted by one of the admins for our friends at Lost Pets of Hudson Valley. There was a dog being sighted sporadically off the power lines by her property, to complicate capture he was hanging with a large pack of coyote. We immediately set a feeding station and got him and his pack on camera and tonight he was safely captured. I’ve named him Wiley (for Wile E. Coyote) he is now safe and sound at Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge where he will receive the best possible care. He is not chipped and will be vetted in the morning. Tonight he is curled up in a warm bed for the first time in a very long time.
