Sampson

Although I can't be there in person to help every lost pet owner who contacts me, it means the world to me to know that the information from my Lost Pet Portal was able to help from afar.

Welcome Home Sampson!

"Hey Buddha Rescue,

Thank you for getting back to me. I’m reaching out to let you know how grateful I am to have found your action plan and survival mode documents online during this difficult time. After thinking the worst and languishing for days, I happened to find you one night when further investigating how to bring Sam home. I quickly realized we were all doing the opposite of what needed to do to find Sam. The information provided on the site allowed me to calm down, think logically, and actually get some rest for the next day ahead. The next morning, I printed off your checklist and planned my own strategy and educated everyone on Survival Mode. Then we switched gears and executed the action plan.

As I was hanging signs, I received a phone call that Sampson was laying on my parents porch. He is home and safe. It appears as though his leg was caught in something rusty and he was trapped. It seems as though he is dealing with some trauma as he is not quite as joyful and active before he left but we are hoping he will return to normal soon.

I can’t begin to express how endlessly grateful I am for you all. Although we didn’t get the chance to work together directly, I could have never done this without you.

Thank you times a million and lots of puppy kisses - "
