Blairstown Stray Cat

Posted by Nicole Asher on

We typically focus our recovery work on dogs, cat cases are not something we often take on, unless they are local to us here in Blairstown. Recently, when a local rescue asked us to assist with capturing a very young cat that had been fending for itself for more than two weeks, we were happy to step in.
Within 24 hours, we were able to bring the cat safely into care. It is now on a mandatory seven-day stray hold, decompressing in a comfortable temporary kitty condo and finally receiving the care it so desperately needed. Notably, the cat’s ear has already been tipped, indicating it had previously been part of a TNR (trap-neuter-release) program. Given the abundance of predators in Blairstown, this young cat faced significant risks outdoors.
If this is your cat, please contact us.
It was captured in the Maple Lane area of Blairstown, NJ.
We may not always be active online, but behind the scenes we are always working tirelessly on rescue efforts. The animals in our care will always be our first priority, even if it means our social media presence takes a back seat.
