Dixie

Posted by Nicole Asher on

I was contacted by numerous concerned animal lovers about a stray In Monroe, CT that had been out there for quite sometime and no one could catch or trap, including animal control. I called the animal control officer and asked if I could offer assistance, he said "sure everyone else has tried" The aco told me he had named her Dixie. I arrived, sat down with a chicken and within five minutes I was able to use the snappy snare to safely secure Dixie. The aco and I got her in his car and we transported her to the shelter where she met Belle another stray previously trapped in the same area, Belle helped a very scared Dixie to feel secure and know she was safe.
