Dozer

Posted by Nicole Asher on

Dozer went missing early this morning when he backed out of his slip lead after having emergency surgery at 2am. He travelled the power lines and pipeline directly behind the animal hospital. Posters went up and tonight we got the sighting that would lead to his reunion. A man saw Dozer laying under a tree in his yard and called immediately, we headed right over. I instructed Dozers mom to sit on the ground and allow him to approach. He was scared and unsure, but after awhile he finally recognized his mom with her softly singing to him and slowly but surely came out to her open arms. We immediately got a slip lead around him and the tail wagging and tears began. He was taken back to the animal hospital to be checked over and is doing well. Welcome home Dozer!!
