Willy

Posted by Nicole Asher on

Willy a foster dog in Millerton, NY slipped out of a sliding door yesterday morning.

He was originally rescued from the bottom of a well and was emaciated and terrified. He arrived a month ago and was just beginning to make progress feeling safe in his foster home. When he first got there he would literally stay frozen in one spot. He put on some weight and was starting to get healthy. As so many new rescues do, he saw the opportunity to bolt and was off and running.

Our good friends at A New Chance Animal Rescue contacted me. I immediately began working with the rescue and foster putting a plan in place. Working together was vital to get this baby back to safety. The area was dense woods for miles, it was imperative that he was not pushed further in. Trusting the process they listened to everything I instructed them to do.

At 4am this morning Willy was safely trapped and back in to the loving arms of his dedicated foster family. Teamwork!!! Welcome back Willy!!
