Smokey

Posted by Nicole Asher on

Smokey came from another backyard "breeder" who kept him in a cage in a basement with no human contact at all, food was tossed over the cage at him. He was then sold to man who kept him tied up on a short outside run, frightened, Smokey immediately escaped. He was trapped but escaped yet again because he was so terrified and was not given time to acclimate. After two weeks on the run in the woods of Kerhonkson, NY, Buddha Dog Rescue & Recovery was contacted. I immediately went out and began capture. Not only was he terrified but he was very trap savvy and would sit and howl for hours on end in the woods. He has now been safely captured and surrendered to BDRR and now has a chance at a life that he deserves!!
