Last night the family of Lilly contacted me, she was lost while hiking on Schunnemunk Mountain in NY, they were frantic and it was freezing out.
I explained how instinctually dogs lost in situations such as this will usually return to the point of entry by where they parked. I advised the owners not to leave and STAY put in their car all night if necessary, I gave them steps to follow and they listened to everything and sure enough...Lilly returned. Welcome back Lilly.
