Fairfield Stray Shepherd/ Arthur

Posted by Nicole Asher on

Another stray German Shepherd is now safe!

This frightened boy was running around Fairfield, NJ. since at least May 21st (twenty three days) that we know of.

We are unsure if he is related to the other shepherds that were dumped throughout northern NJ.

He is very skinny and has a large old wound on his hip, he’s clearly been through a lot. Although very scared, you could see the relief in his eyes…he knows he’s now safe.

He is now safe and sound in the care of Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge who opened their doors late last night to welcome him in.

Thank you Monica for making that call that got the ball rolling for his capture.

As always…. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING!
